My Friends Place

Organization Description

My Friend's Place opened a homeless shelter in 1989. Over 30 years later, thousands of people have called My Friend's Place their home. Approximately 200 people will stay at the shelter during any given year, including 30 to 40 families with children. The majority of the families who stay at our shelter are women with children. However, in recent years, we have seen a large growth in the number of intact families needing shelter.
