Organization Description

Spark the Dream has a vision of providing a place for young African immigrants to connect to their roots and culture. The organization is led by and in support of Black-immigrant populations in Manchester, a growing and under-resourced population. Spark the Dream has faced many challenges over the past few years in the efforts to acquire a building, and the goal of these capacity-building resources is to bridge some of the gaps that have made it difficult for this under-resourced organization to acquire the physical infrastructure necessary to deliver its programming. With this capacity-building effort, Spark the Dream will work to acquire a building so that they can provide critical learning and cultural programs.
