Organization Description

Since 1917, AFSC has been on the forefront of some the most important social movements in working for a more just, peaceful world. Explore some of the major events in our history over the past century. We bring together people of all faiths and backgrounds to challenge injustice and build peace around the globe. We place a special emphasis on promoting economic justice and the rights and well-being of immigrants, workers, and prisoners.
